How does StreamAlive work?

No codes, embeds, or funny URLs are required* for online sessions.
For the sales team, it's as simple as typing in the chat.

Set up your interactions

Before your event starts, add the interactions you want to run. Create your own questions, use ChatGPT to come up with questions for you, or use the library of pre-written questions.

Choose from polls, word clouds, spinner wheels, interactive maps, and more.

You can even add your slides so your presentation and audience interactions are shared from a single browser tab.

Enter your meeting link

StreamAlive connects to your training session and enters as a bot that reads the chat stream. Learn more.

NEW: Use the StreamAlive App for Zoom and manage everything from within the Zoom desktop client!

Share your screen

The StreamAlive presentation console contains all your slides and interactions that you can run through just like you would if your were presenting a PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides deck.

To experience what your audience sees, try our interactive sandbox.

* StreamAlive supports hybrid and offline classes too via a mobile-loving, browser-based, no-app-to-install chat experience. Of course, there’s no way around a URL that they have to click on to access it. Learn more.
Why is StreamAlive different?

You’ve already tried a hundred ways to boost engagement and attention in your sales training sessions, but here’s what makes StreamAlive different from other engagement tools.

No second screens or mobiles*

  • StreamAlive is powered by the chat. The last thing you want to do is have an easily distracted sales person open a new tab or look at their phone to participate in a poll or word cloud.

  • * StreamAlive works for in-person training using a browser-based app which provides a similar experience to someone joining virtually via Teams or Zoom.

Intelligently collect, curate, and moderate questions

  • StreamAlive’s AI automatically spots questions from the chat (no question marks ? required!) and curates them into a question bank.

  • You’ll never have to berate a learner for not using the Q&A tab to submit their question again! All questions are welcomed in the chat at any time during the session.

Track engagement, not just attendance

  • Using the post-event analytics you can see who the most engaged employees were so you can target those that didn’t participate.

  • Tracking engagement and participation ensure that your sessions are not just another ‘tick’ in the “completed sales training” box

How sales trainers use StreamAlive

Feedback and ideas
Using polls and word clouds, sales trainers get feedback and ideas on what the sales team is thinking, whether it’s about an upcoming product launch or a new GTM strategy.
Test knowledge
StreamAlive’s quiz questions tests the knowledge of your sales team and helps check if the training material is being absorbed throughout the session.
Tap into the competitive nature of a sales person
StreamAlive’s engagement and participation leaderboards enables friendly competition between sales people and even between sales regions.

Does StreamAlive work with on-demand sales training?

How exactly does StreamAlive work in my training session?

You create your interactions (polls, word clouds, quiz questions, interactive maps, spinner wheels etc.) in the StreamAlive app. During your presentation you open StreamAlive in a browser tab, connect it to your meeting (instructions on how to connect StreamAlive to your meeting) and share your screen.

If you know how to share your screen to show a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation then you know everything you need to know to use StreamAlive!

When the interaction is displayed on your screen, your audience can type in the chat and their responses are visualized in real-time.

Does StreamAlive work with on-demand sales training?

StreamAlive is an audience engagement tool for live sales training. We’re looking at ways to support self-paced, on-demand asynchronous sales training. The challenge is how to make a poll or word cloud or any other interaction engaging when no one else is participating at the same time.

How does StreamAlive access my Teams / Zoom / Google Meet meeting?

The easiest way to connect StreamAlive to your Teams or Zoom meeting is to use the StreamAlive app for Teams or the StreamAlive app for Zoom.

The alternative method is to login to the StreamAlive webapp, enter the URL to your meeting (instructions on how to connect StreamAlive to your meeting) and allow StreamAlive to enter as a bot. If you are familiar with notetaking apps joining a meeting, StreamAlive works in a similar way.

How will StreamAlive make my sales training sessions more engaging?

Most instructor-led training sessions are monologues delivered by the instructor to a very passive audience - which is multiplied when the training is done virtually. StreamAlive breaks the monotony of training by turning them into dialogues where passive audiences become active participants.

Do I need to give attendees a link or QR code to scan?

For virtual meetings in Teams, Zoom, Google Meet or any of the other platforms we support, there is no need for links or QR codes for the attendees as they participate in the interactions by using the chat - it’s super easy for them!

For in-person meetings your attendees will need to access the browser-based chat which mimics the chat in a Zoom or Teams meeting and allows the attendee to participate in the interaction when you share it on your screen.

StreamAlive plans start from $20/mo or $100/yr for upto 50 commenters per session. For more tailored plans for enterprise sales training, please contact us to talk about your requirements.

Can I embed StreamAlive interactions in my presentation?

You can upload your slides to StreamAlive’s presentation builder and integrate it with interactions. Instead of presenting your slides from PowerPoint or Google Slides, you present from StreamAlive so you don’t have to switch back and forth between slides and interactions.

Alternatively, can insert quick interaction links into your presentation which opens up a new browser tab when you open it. Currently there is no way to embed an interaction like a poll or word cloud within the actual presentation slide.
